I am a graduate of The Ohio State University, Class of 2012. During my time at Ohio State, I was involved in the Meteorology Club and served as Secretary during the 2011-2012 academic year. This involved helping plan the annual Severe Weather Symposium as well as taking meeting minutes and assisting other executive board members. While living near campus, I worked at the Thompson Library as a Collections Assistant for three years. I was primarily responsible for maintaining the library’s “GEC Textbook Project.” This program was designed to provide short term loans on textbook materials for students so that they could avoid buying their own copy, if possible. I managed the budget for the project, ordered books according to demand, kept usage statistics and tracked and helped recover missing items.
